I'm currently deciding which dental school to commit to. If I choose Western in Pomona, I wouldn't have to pay for housing, but overall, it would still be more expensive compared to LECOM, even when considering rent in Florida. I'm open to paying the difference; I'm just curious about which school others would recommend. One concern I have about LECOM is that the incoming class size is 150 students, whereas Western has a smaller class of 70 students.

I'm pretty open to practicing anywhere, and I have family both close to Florida and close to the dental school in California

My friends live in California but I have a friend that's going to LECOM with me. The cost difference is about 50k I would say

that's a tough one if it's $50k
i guess it depends if you are ok with PBL and with paying to move in your fourth year...
