I know there are already a million questions about which is "better," but I'm wondering more whether a continued commitment to one or the other is preferred over demonstrating experience in both
Last summer I did clinical research which I really enjoyed and the doc let me be extremely involved w it. I would enjoy it for sure if I did more clinical research since I enjoy writing and the content is very interesting, but I've often heard from premeds (ik, not always the most reliable source) that wet labs are often preferred to dry ones. I've never done wet labs before, so I'm not sure if I should just continue with clinical research or if I'd be a more well-rounded applicant having done both.
