Other than the obvious stuff... what would be necessary
Past Employment, Research, Honors

Can I put past volunteer work on there... stuff I did as a premed before applying to med school? (a.k.a AMCAS things)

I was looking at my college CV, and I had a section for "Extracurriculars." I do not partake in these extracurriculars right now and am a busy M1 🙁

Cut out unimportant UG stuff. Leave in BIG accomplishments (deans list 4 years, full ride scholarship, built a hospital in africa out of straw with my hands).

Focus on medical school stuff....so here are some important topics I would include

Education:
Med School
-gpa/class rank (only if you rock..ie top 10%, 3.7 gpa)
-big honors/scholarships
-usmle 265/99

Law School
-ect
Grad School
-ect
UG School
-ect

Publications (ie. nature/NJM/science/spine)
-books/journals

Abstract Publications/presentations (ie. smaller stuff)
-national meetings
-school presentations

Research Experience
-who/what/where/when

Work Experience
-meaningful jobs (ie. manager of 100 employees at walmart)
-medical realated jobs (ie. nurse/ent/radiology tech)

Volunteer/Comminuity Stuff
-BIG ones from UG (saved whales in the south pacific on whale wars)
-anything in medical school
-tutor classmates
-rescue stray cats

Memberships
-AMA
-surgery
-ect

Misc.
-i hodl 8 olympic gold medals
-i speak 15 languages
-i can squirt milk out of my eye

Thanks, ChiDO! (And I CAN squirt milk out of my eye. It hurts, but I can do it.)

So would you include research in the research section that was associated with employment listed in the employment section?
