HELP!!!!!!
I seem to be having a dilemma. I talked to one admissions office who said they didn't require an update of Fall grades, but said that if I did want to add them to my app. i would have to update my AMCAS and resubmit! There's no way in hell im going to do that! So, my main question is:
Are we responsible for submitting Fall grades, even if they don't change our GPA?

I know once we matriculate you have to give them an official transcript, so do we have to give them an update before then?

HELP ME PLEASE!!! (i know im making a big deal for nothing, but i just want to be sure im keeping all schools updated)

You can't update grades on AMCAS, I've tried and they simply don't allow it once your application has been verified.

Thanks None!! That makes my day 😀

I am sending mine to individual schools just in case.

i think it's worth sending in your grades, even if your GPA stays the same, just to emphasize the level of work you're capable of maintaining. i think it's kind of implicitly expected that you update your application with any new information, *unless* the school specifically asks you not to. even still, i applied to one school that asked not to send additional info, yet i'm sending in an additional rec letter, new grades, etc, etc. it doesn't hurt. what are they going to do, reject me for sending in new info?

that said, i'm not touching my AMCAS app--i'm just mailing transcripts directly to the schools. i'm done with AMCAS.

thanks everyone! im emailing all of my schools with my new grades and asking them if they need an unofficial or official transcript to verify my info. im sure they'll understand if i don't want to go through amcas.
