Nobody really knows how they interview. We are pretty poor judges in that department in all but the most obvious of situations.

As an example, one of my two interviewers played football at my highschool and was a classmate of my coach. I was pretty confident walking out of that interview...

I had a really bad interview at AZCOM and was so sure that I wouldn't get in that I threw out the packet of info they gave. Surprisingly, i got in! It's true... they rock paper scissor acceptances.

I interviewed at DMU and SOMA thinking... i'm doomed for ross, i don't care anymore... so i wasn't as nervous. The interviews went really well. Interviewers laughed a couple of times. I felt really confident. Regardless, i'll be attending AZCOM.

Congratulations, you made it. Although I am surprised that Touro CA waitlisted you because I heard that they do not waitlist students until very late in the application cycle. Their admissions director does not like having students wait listed.

Now that you have an acceptance in hand, it couldn't hurt to call the WL schools and ask if they are considering taking you off WL. That's if you really want to go to one of the WL schools.

Agreed. If Western & Touro-NV are still your top 2 choices, I wouldn't give up on them just yet. But big congrats on AZCOM. 🙂

Whatever you do, don't send your acceptance letters to Western. They're not going to care. Sending updates, new grades, new LOR.. or a letter of interest/intent (if it's your first choice) will help your case. I know from reading last year's thread that people were separated into an accepted alternate list that was ranked (people were pulled from this first) and a regular waitlist. I would call the admissions office to ask and see if you can get more details about your waitlist -- what your expected chances are and how they prefer you to send in update letters, etc.

Well after re-reading last year's thread, there is an "accepted pending space" list and an alternate list at Western. People who are accepted later in the year might be put on the accepted pending space list due to overacceptance issues (ie: not many people withdrawing). At the end of the year, people on the pending space list will be ranked & taken off the list first. After that, they will move onto the regular waitlist. Last year, not everybody got off the pending list and the waitlist didn't move at all. Those that didn't get off the pending list were guaranteed a spot in this year's class. But 2 years ago, everyone got off the pending list and some off the waitlist as well. It varies year by year.
