I've noticed that schools have rotations divided into "ambulatory" and "inpatient". Is ambulatory just outpatient? It's kind of a wierd name... it doesn't have anything to do with EM does it? 😕

Ambulatory (in this case), is the same thing as outpatient.

Ambulatory, of course, referring to the fact that the patients are able to walk in and out of the outpatient clinic, whereas many inpatients are bedridden.
