Hello, I am a second-time applicant seeking some advice! I applied to my IS school (Auburn) last cycle and received an interview but was denied. I am looking at applying to these schools this cycle: Auburn, Purdue, Missouri, Michigan State, Mississippi, Illinois, Arizona, Minnesota, Lincoln Memorial, WSU (and possibly North Carolina, CSU, or Tennessee). I would love to gain some advice on if these schools are good options for me/what my chances are!
Here are my current stats:
Degrees- Bachelor of Arts in Biology
Cumulative GPA - 3.72
Science GPA- 3.52
Last 45 GPA -3.82
GRE Results: Not taking
Veterinary Experience (with a Veterinarian): 1,074 hours total
-920 hours at Small Animal practice (worked full time)
-12 hours at Equine Practice
-108 hours at Mixed Animal Practice
-18 hours at Large Animal Practice
-36 hours at another Mixed Animal Practice
*I have an interest in being a Mixed Animal Veterinarian
Animal Experience (no Veterinarian Involved): 5,000+ hrs
-Farm work, Horse Camp Counselor, Horse exercise Rider, Intercollegiate Equestrian team member
Extracurricular Activities: 3,528 hrs
Rode for my university's equestrian team for 4 years (vice president)
Sorority (was on the Leadership committee 1+ years)
Multiple other clubs/sports in high schools w/ leadership roles
Employment (Not Animal Related): 322 hrs
-Community Hall Assistant for a resident hall at my college
-Intern at Pediatric Dentistry Office
