Hi everybody!

I'm preparing to apply to optometry school in couple of weeks and I am super nervous! I was wondering what my chances are of getting in. I am taking the OAT in late July and my GPA is 3.79 at the University of Pittsburgh. I have over 100+ shadow hours and I worked in an optometrist's office for most of last summer. I am also a volunteer research assistant at our local Eye and Ear hospital and I have been there for about a year now. I am also part of a club known as "Pitt's Association for the Blind," where we volunteer at the School for the Blind in Pittsburgh. I also just got back I am getting very anxious about applying and just wanted some opinions about my chances!

Thanks for all the help!

Score a 320 or above on the OAT and you'll be fine. My only other advice would be to apply early.
