Hey guys,

What are my chances of getting into ANY optometry school in the US? Which ones do you think I should apply to if I had to narrow it down to 5.


2. cGPA= 3.41 sGPA-=3.19
3. OATs Score- still have to take
4. Experience: I shadowed 3 optometrists and have 2 rec letters from optometrists I have known for over 5 years.
5. have 100+ hours of volunteer hours at a local hospital
6. I am also on pre- opt club, president of various other clubs, and part of NSCS.

What else can I do to improve my chances? I started applying at local eye centers for a summer job.

Focus your energy on studying for the OAT. Make sure you do well on the test, apply early, and you should be good to go!

Tough to say without the OAT. You certainly have everything else in good order.
