I just took my OAT and I got a AA 300 and TS 280. My GPA as of right now is a 3.3 and I applied to ICO, UMSL, SCO and NSU. I have an interview with ICO even though they don't know my test scores. What are my chances of getting an interview/acceptance?

Thanks

Unfortunately your OAT scores aren't the most competitive so that might cause problems as far as the acceptance goes. You could probably get interviews at all of those schools however some might put you on "hold" until you retake the OAT! Make sure at every interview you really show your passion and commitment to the field!

Well that's awesome ICO is giving you a chance and invited you for an interview. In that specific situation you were able to somewhat circumnavigate the OAT concerns. Make sure you kill the interview so in case they do decide to seriously include your test scores in their deliberation it will be softened by you as a candidate. I can say with SCO though that they will definitely at minimum raise their eyebrows to your OAT scores. I recently received an email from them saying they will likely invite me for an interview in the near future, but also made an effort to point out specific things in my application that aren't as competitive. In general though I will say that tipping the scale of consideration towards an interview will come from your overall application. If you feel confident in your letters, satisfied with volunteering/clubs, shadowing, and have a strong personal statement your chances are better for it.
