hey guys,

Im currently a pharmacy student going into my final year of rotation. My undergrad GPA was pretty bad (3.2) and pharmacy GPA is about the same. I haven't taken the MCAT yet but planning to take it next August. Do you think I should apply for Med school with those grades and rely on my experience in pharmacy school to hopefully get me in??...thanks

You're going to have to rock the MCAT and explain why you now prefer medicine to pharmacy in a convincing manner.

You have about a 21% chance of acceptance.

That's wierd. When I ran the numbers, I came up with 18.5%, + or - 9% depending on MCAT score.

I was in pharmacy school for 2 years (that's just doing the "preprofessional" years) and quit. My premed advisor warned me not to say ANYTHING about being in a pharmacy school....I'm guessing it's not a good thing. Just giving you a heads up.

You're all wrong. The calculations according to the Maxim Rubric dated fromthe 2003 academic calender of the AOKMAA this person has a 1.61:4 odds against in getting into a US allopathic medical school.
