My scores are:
PA: 18
QR: 14
RC: 18
Bio: 18
Gen. Chem.: 18
O. Chem.: 19
Total Science: 18
Academic Average: 17

SO I know I did really bad. What are the possibilities of getting into a Texas Dental School? I have an overall gpa: 3.5 science: 3.3
I work at a dental office and shadow at the same time.

I completed everything like four days before Oct 1.
I applied to:
UT san antonio
baylor
UT Houston
tufts
nyu
western
okl
lsu
nova
lecom

I really want to get into san antonio though or any other texas schools.
I dont think my personal statement was very strong either and I wont have the time to study to retake the DAT before dec 1.

My chances are slim to none huh???

You will have to study your ass off for a retake and show some serious improvement. 14 QR is going to hurt, 18 AA is going to make it worse because you are going to be up against a majority of applicants with 20+ AAs. As far as gpa, looking good.

Weak personal statement and late application are two more negatives right there. Overall, you have a weak chance this cycle. On the off chance that you get an interview, don't screw it up. But I think your best choice is to go quit everything (jobs, outside commitments, etc.) and study incredibly hard for a DAT retake. The DAT forum has some really good study guides, follow them and go incredibly hard and you will have a good chance next cycle.

Retake and you will have an excellent chance next cycle 🙂 It's late in the cycle right now, so it's pretty much a gamble for anyone IMO. I have very similar GPAs as you, but a slightly higher DAT score and I didn't hear from TX (yet?). I've had 3 interviews, but I plan to retake my DAT in preparation for the next cycle. Good luck!

Study hard, retake, apply next cycle. You could add a few more schools too, like BU.
