Hello I was curious if you could give me your opinion's on the best option for me. Please be gentle but honest, I am exploring my options on how to turn things around, and in no way think I am entitled or that it will be easy, or even definitely possible for that matter.
due to personal issues that I am still working on my entire undergrad career has suffered. Over about 8 years I will graduate this semester at 26 years old in the low end of the 2.0 range. The degree is a business management bachelors and really does not have any medical pre reqs in it except for statistics and English.
I have personal issues that I am trying to get help with, but when or if I do get those under control I was thinking of taking my Pre Reqs at Brooklyn College or going away for the SGU Premed Program.
The problem with staying home is that I feel as thou my self esteem will force me to get a full time job to justify my age to my self, friends and family. I think being only a student who can not publicly admit what I am shooting for would really affect me.
If I was to go to SGU I would and could spend all my time studying in groups with other students or tutors ect.
I think it is pretty obvious that I will never get into a US med school and wanted to hear from the experts how I should go about salvaging things and what my best option is.
