Just to be clear, is it just the self assessment tools provided for by NBME? There seem to be a bunch of them from CBSSA to CCSSA, but which one should I use? I see people on here say NBME 6 or NBME 3, but I'm not sure which ones they mean.

Assuming you're wanting to take the NBME practice tests for step 1, you'll be wanting to order the comprehensive basic science assessments. The oldest one that you can purchase on their website is form 11, with the latest one being 17. The earlier forms (eg 1-7) obviously still exist other places on the internet.

Is this still true, go for the CBSSA for step 1? And there are only 6 of them?
