Aside from the using the highly recommended board prep resources, what outside-of-the-box approaches have you taken to studying for Step 1 that helped you get a high score?

I read first aid before shelf materials as an M3

Spending a lot of time to understand (i.e., essentially memorize) every single image that's ever come up on an NBME Comprehensive Basic Science Self Assessment. I found this to be extremely high yield.
