What are the most pathetic threads in SDN history?

Half to 3/4 of the threads at any given time could be listed here.

Any threads about "getting into a top 10 school" are auto fails.

Also those about CC credits.

Oh, and the "investment banking (or law) versus medicine" threads.

And the debt / repayment threads - especially the ones where people argue about how little $ they need after taxes and debt service to live the life of their dreams...
 
any thread blatantly posted in the wrong sub-forum gets my immediate 👎

if it starts with asking your chances given your stats, there just MAY be a sub-forum specifically designed for that thread.
 
Yes, but I would classify those as more "clueless" than "pathetic."

By "pathetic," I mean a thread in which the poster pretends to be asking a real question, but really just wants validation from a bunch of other anonymous premeds that they might, just might, get into med school.

Anything in the "I have a 3.9 but I got a B in Calc II, can I still get into a top 20" category.

And people actually respond (except me): "Dude, no worries, you will be fine! Wish I had your stats!"

Anyone know how to set up a poll?
 
Hm, from my admittedly limited experience with SDN, I'd also add anything about MD vs. DO.
 
I pretty much love this thread. I can't think of any specifics right now but I'm enjoying some good LOLs reading the ones already posted. :laugh:

I agree with whoever said that 66% of threads on the first page of Pre-Allo are incredibly pathetic.

Sooooooo many of these questions have either been answered before or are moot point.
