I plan to apply broadly. I would be honored to attend any medical school, really. Keeping the cost of applying to medical school down, however, is a major concern of mine. I have a lot of airfare miles that my grandparents can help me with for travel expenses so I'm not particular worried about having to go to far away school for interviews. What are the schools with the cheapest secondary application fees that you can think of at the top of you head?

The lowest I remember is Vandy (which I think was $50 last year). Several of the Texas public schools have free secondaries. Just plan on getting screwed, though.

That's what I figured. I've been trying to work some overtime to save up for the fees. This is when I wish that I had rich parents! 🙂

50 is reasonable. It's when every school is 100 that concerns me.

University of Cincinnati has a $25 secondary..

In the big scheme of things, secondary costs are a drop in the bucket

I think WashU was $60. Stay away from Tulane.

SIU is $50, but only for IL residents. UofI and Rush are around $70 I think.

FIU and Florida atlantic are both only 30. Vandy 50, Univ Indiana 50, Iowa 60 UCSF is 60, SUNY Downstate is 65, Wake Forest is 55. This is according to last years MSAR so they may have raised slightly but of the schools I'm applying to, those are the fees I know of.
