So, I'm feeling holiday-ish. And very thankful and grateful (are they different, or the same?) for what's currently going on in my life.

I am thankful for.....

A) my family who love me and support my floundering & over-achiever (read: perfectionist) tendencies
B) my friends world wide who make my life brighter like hidden stars on a dark night
C) my love for veterinary medicine and the animals I have yet to meet (and doctor if necessary); love & passion in general😉
D) being able to breathe and not be 6 feet under in a hole like I wanted to be less than a year ago.....hey, less than a week ago (I have slip-ups and setbacks, mkay?)
E) the creative genius of myself and others
F) my desire to give people opportunities to procrastinate unnecessarily 😀
In reality, they all should share one letter but I'm not a huge fan of this/that/this/oh, and that. Liberal arts broke that habit early on.

Crap......hope this isn't too much like the rave/rant threads....Is it?

hmm let's see:

a) my health and well being and everyone else in my life's health and well being
b) to have such amazing opportunities in my life
c) to have such a loving and supportive family
d) for the man who keeps me sane and happy even though we're 2000 mi apart. without his presence in my life, i seriously don't know how i would have made it through this semester!
e) so many other simple things that i won't use the entire alphabet to list out haha

and finally (and really cheesy): Hill's pet food for donating 30 turkeys to SGUSVM every year so that we can have thanksgiving dinner despite being stuck here on the island away from family. it is really awesome that each of us from a different background gets to contribute in some way to our SGU "family" for this dinner. some students bake turkeys and everyone else brings a side dish. yum!

I have a ton to be thankful for this year!

a) My health- hit a deer and totaled my car less than a week ago and didn't get injured.
b) My family- they are the best, very supportive of my love for animals and desire to be a vet and rehabber even if they don't quite understand how I can love wildlife as much as I do.
c) My job- I left my job in Feb. to go get vet experience and my experience at the emergency clinic was amazing as far as learning a ton about what it takes to be a vet and all that, but was horrible as for times worked and people worked with. It was necessary to go, but I am sooooooooooooooooo happy that they eagerly took me back at my old place of employment where I am working days and no weekends 👍 and employees are valued and not treated like they could be replaced in a second. My boss is awesome and so are all the other people I work with.
d) I am thankful I have today off work so I could spend time with family.

Have many other things to be thankful for too, but I'll keep it to my top 4 🙂.
