Haven´t been here in a while. It´s good to see things stay the same. Dual vs. single degree, how to get into OMFS with low stats etc.🙂
For quite a few years now, I´ve been using the same composite bonding material to bond brackets with a gold chain to impacted canines. And with reliable results I might add. Usually if something goes wrong, it´s the chain that breaks.
Recently however, we are starting to get complaints from orthodontists that they are simply pulling the brackets off the teeth. This is happening between 2 and 6 months after initial bonding. I´m also hearing similar stories from other OMFSs that use the same product.
Obvoiusly it´s time to change products, so I would like to ask those of you here that perform these procedures what product you are using for this purpose.
Thanks.
