Interested in knowing what are your difficulties in Med school and how you overcome them?

My main difficulty is dealing with the majority of people that I attend school with. I manage to deal with them by refusing to attend most lectures, as well as with copious amounts of alcoholic beverages.

hmmm..
I had/have a similar problem w/ people in my class. I have found many of them to be stuck-up, closed-minded, and very very snobbish.

i dont like the majority of people in med school. annoying *****s who think they're so smart coz they can memorize one whole book or read 10 chapers a day.

i also don't like not having enough time to do the stuff that i want and see how happy my classmates are staying the whole day at the library. i mean, why can't just mutate into a geek and be happy like them.

i hate writing histories and i hate having to spend too much time doing paperworks instead doing something more productive.

i miss having friends i can talk into going out to have fun. all these geeks want to do is study, talk about exam scores and study more.

Yah i know it's the wrong thread, I was just stating that this decision was a diffuculty that I was facing in school. But I've pretty much decided not to buy, except for anatomy and histo atlas, I'm just going from notes and review books.

I gotta agree with Fletcher on this one as well. My classmates can be real douche-bags. Most of them are too educated for their own good and are lacking in life experience. To that end, I can't tell any of my good stories except to my close friends because everyone else would think I was a wild child (which I kinda am😀 ).

What really pisses me off is when you get stuck on rotation with a gunner. There is nothing like seeing that same dingus every day and having to resist the urge to put my boot up their ass.

Especially closet gunners and good lookin' blonde girls who will relentlessly dive their nose into the closest chief residents' and attendings' gluteal cleft and lick upwards. That really pisses me off. Attendings always get a good stroke in their ego (and something else if you know what i mean) and give them good evals. Sometimes they make me want to stick a Graves spiculum up their A$$ and open it as wide as i can.

I used to be lv16 solo and RT on Kalimdor in W3 ROC but dont have that much time to play TFT after it came out (I just finished my subI and finishing off renal consult month so I am mad tired after I get home) so I am still finding the ropes of that game a little bit, plus dunno why my comp lag like hell now, have lag spikes once every 2 or 3 minute even with cable. Probably those damn koreans or something. Hex is fun... 🙂 you can hex a sheep and it will turn into a frog... 🙂
