What books for MCAT

Hi all,
So I am registered to be taking the MCAT April 5th 2014.
I've been hearing mixed reviews on which books to use as guides for studying. I plan to begin hardcore studying at the end of December (only a 3 month study period)
I'll be abroad in Thailand starting in January so I want to start buying MCAT books now.
What combinations of books would anyone recommend?? Also if someone used an effective three month study schedule, I would love any insight. Thanks!
