What button do I push for competency? (AACOMAS)

I've talked briefly about my struggles in the main thread, but I am now genuinely convinced that AACOM has outsourced their application system to Comcast.

June 8: "We received your transcript, allow a few days for the status to update online."
June 15: "It seems your transcript has been lost. Please resend."
June 19: "We have your transcript and your status will be updated by the end of the day."
June 23: "We have no record of your transcripts arriving. Please contact your institution and resend."

Even ignoring the fact that my school charges $30 for each transcript, and this will be the 3rd I've sent, I'm now going to be verified an entire MONTH late -- assuming this attempt is even successful. I relayed these concerns to one of their support representatives and was told to "relax, bro."

The lack of professionalism and competency is truly an embarrassment to osteopathic medicine.

What was the actual response by AACOMAS? Did you email or phone contact them?

Is there a way to contact AACOMAS beyond the posted support phone number and email? The above is the abridged version of my associations with them.

Not that I am aware of, I would contact AACOMAS via phone and ask for a manager or higer up and speak to them.

I would Yelp them too. JK JK.
 
Also Contact AACOM and voice your concerns. Next time you call AACOMAS ask to speak to a manager such as Michelle or Vicky, and hold your ground if they keep trying to tell you to call back and etc. Just keep reiterating that you wish to speak to a manager, just stay very professional about it.
 
Yeah I think they hire these people from the window licker store. They have been extremely frustrating. They messed up my application and resent to to schools 4 damn times. Might be hitting 5 later today cause they took out some of my classes I entered into my prereqs.
 
This thread made me laugh... though it is true. I particularly like that after sending many emails trying to get help, I got an email from AACOMAS yesterday asking if I still need help. Well you haven't answered me, so I'd say yes.

Also, you should have heard the reaction I got from a school I called when I mentioned AACOMAS. The good news is the schools seem to realize it's not our fault.

One week later...
AACOMAS: We receive a lot of emails, please reply if you have not figured out an answer to your question.
Me: I could still use an answer.
AACOMAS (an hour later): We receive a lot of emails, please reply if you have not figured out an answer to your question.
Me: Yup still have a question.
AACOMAS: Thank you for your email, we will get back to you in the next 2-3 business days.
Still haven't heard from them almost a week later.....

At least the layout of the website is cool right?
