I was wondering what else I can do to improve my list of extracurriculars so that I can have a well-rounded application for medical school. Here's the list so far:

- Pre-health Club = 2 years
- Did 60 hours of volunteering through club
- Inducted into Honor society sophmore year
- Christian Club = 2 years
- On E-board this year.
- Indian Student's Club = 2 years
- Participated in talent shows.
- Research
- 1 semester Freshman year
- Currently as a junior, working to develop an effective method to test for sickle cell disease in third world countries (working on publication)
- Hospital Volunteering
- one year so far
- 60 hours
- Free clinic
- Started this semester
- Helping with a project that provides resources to people of low income areas.
- Tutor for children from lower socio-economic back grounds
- 1 year so far, still continuing
- Biology Lab TA
- Sophomore year
- Nearly 200 hours.
- Chemistry Lab Grading TA
- This year so far...probably around the same number of hours by end of year.
- Shadowing
- Physicians of 3 different specialties - 75 hours.
- Orchestra - one semester Freshman year
- Section leader
- Geriatrics internship next semester
- Going to Ghana in winter break with Global Medical Brigades
- Lots more shadowing/ hospital volunteering
- Participating in a music therapy program.
