Hey everyone any advice to help me improve as a reapplicant would be very helpful!

GPA:3.90
sGPA: 3.99
MCAT: 36S (13 11 12)
ECS: 1.5-2 yrs of research, TA for multiple courses, Hospital Transporter for 2.5 years (>500 Hrs), Volunteer multiple events (6*8hrs), Volunteer tutor for 3 years (>350 Hrs), random awards/honors, random pre-med groups, etc.

More specific in MDApp. Seemed like I was all across the board so not really sure what to do from here.

Thanks in advance

How could you not be accepted? You're practically perfect. Did you apply late, have luke warm LORs, freeze at the interviews, or what?

I don't see physican shadowing or a leadership activity. Those are possible areas to improve on.

From the OP's MDApps: "i had some 'character issues' with drinking that I think had a major effect..."

It doesn't look like there is anything to improve. I would apply again, but go all out and submit to 35 schools. If you don't get in applying to that many schools with your numbers, I don't think it was meant to be.

thanks a lot guys for the replys/advice. i have shadowed an ENT and Physiatrist and always kind of hoped my TA would count for leadership since I ran a physics and gen chem lab by myself. i had my pre med advisor look over my letters for me to see if I should get new ones but she said they are all good. the only problem is one or two of the coversheets that came with the letter wasn't that great. had applied in june and complete everywhere by teh first week of august so have been afraid that i may have fell though the cracks. guess i am just a little discouraged by the whole process and am looking on what i can do to make sure that this next cycle happens a little better.

Like I said earlier, I don't think there's much you can do to improve. Your numbers are excellent, and your ECs look great too. Just apply to more schools and get your secondaries in quickly.

Is your "character issue" listed on your transcript?
