i studied really hard, got 230 on free 150 ten days before the test, scored 60% in the very last four blocks of world bank (timed)...but after all that i ended up with a 207...kinda sad about the whole thing...its not the closure that i was hoping for. i want to go into internal medicine....not sure if my score is gonna be enough

should be good for some decent IM programs. If you feel your performance on Step I will hurt your application, perhaps sit for Step II early, do well, and include it in your application.

I really hate to be crass and I'm sure you want to vent about it. But there should be someone at your school who can tell you (with some significant certainty) the answer to this question. You should really ask them.

still im is an option..get step 2 high score97-99...i am too a bit disappointed with score...r u an amg??student...hope..thing get better soon...i heard a lot of high cut offs this year...i have 217...dont know what will happen..

I am in a similar situation, but the fact that I am an IMG makes it even worse.Hoping to match into FM,so step 2 salvation is my *ONLY* option to perhaps mask my score.

Work on other areas of your application: publications, fellowships, research,LORs,etc and that should help a great deal..with a great step 2 score.

Hang in there and keep forging ahead, difficult but pretty much the only darn option.Good luck!👍
