I have an interview with ICOM on 2/5. I have heard that its okay to bring notes into the interview so that you remember what questions you want answered. Is it alright to bring those notes in the form of a tablet or would paper be the best way to go?
It would also come in handy to take notes when necessary but is a tablet kosher with interviews? If not I will just bring a notepad and copy my questions into it.

I would say a notepad will suffice. The majority of the people interviewing don't normally take anything with them at all.

I have a tiny tiny moleskin I always carry on interview day. I don’t spend much time writing during the interview, but I put some facts in to refer to during the interview.

(For example, at one school I referred to a list of friends I worked with who were alumni of the school. I didn’t want to have to remember multiple names, so I jotted them down)

OP, just remember the questions you're going to ask. It's not much to memorize. You don't need to write the questions down.

Definitely don't bring a tablet, because that would open up the possibility that you're audio recording the interview.

How many med school interviews have already been audio recorded on an iPhone slipped into an internal coat pocket?

Would be a cool thing to upload to SDN for premeds anxious about upcoming interviews!

Heh, all four i went to this year was extremely laid back. Of course someone else at my day at KCU had completely the opposite experience
