Hey whats up once again, wanted to see if anyone is taking any interesting classes. Here's my schedule.

Chemistry II
Advanced P.E. (Not really advanced, just athlete class)
Art 1 🙂D)
Calculus

Literature & Composition 4
SRT (Student Resource Time, basically a study hall type class)
Spanish 4
Anatomy and Physiology

I have block scheduling at my school, that is why I divided them into groups.

Do you get AP credit for advanced PE class?

I thought senior year was supposed to be challenging! A last chance to show colleges that you don't have senioritis. No APs?

7 classes:

AP calc
AP English lit/comp
Government/economics
AP Bio
Anatomy/physiology
AP Art
Health science tech II -or- AP stat

Way to make me look bad lol. But no if you can read my sig you can see that I am already accepted and do not need to impress anymore. Also, we only have AP classes in English (not fun), Math (suck at it), and History(very boring in my school). Also we have IB, but they would not let me into any IB Bio or Chem, because I was a senior and not elligible for a IB degree

seems like too much though 🙁
Really? I thought 4 or 5 APs were doable, though I'm only in two right now, but seniors in my school take anywhere from 3 to 7 and still have other activities going on. I've toned my goal down from 7 to about 4-5. Which class seems to be the most trouble for you?

I'm taking.. Weightlifting, Advanced Government (next semester), AP College Comp & Lit (college credit), Pre-Calculus (college credit), Advanced Anatomy and Physiology (college credit), Bio-Technology (college credit), and Advanced Chemistry.

How do you recieve college credit for Pre-Calc?

I'm in dual enrollment precalc also and will be taking AP calc next year. It may not count as a math credit where I go, but it's guaranteed college credit, so they will probably make it count as an elective.

Yeah.. I'm in the dual enrollment thing.. They just started giving college credit for Pre-Calc at my school this year.

When I was in high school, the term "gunner" did not exist. How the times have changed!

AP Literature and Composition
Guitar I
Pre-Calculus
Honors Spanish IV (I get UConn credit but it works for other colleges)
Honors Physics
Computing Essentials
P.E. (my school requires it all four years, which sucks. It's only about twice a week, though.)

We have an eight day schedule, so I drop two classes a day. It's weird, I don't know.

Next semester it's the same but I have International Relations and Foundations in Art instead of Guitar and Computing Essentials.

My schedule currently looks like:

AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP Language Composition
German 2
Honors US History
AP Spanish
Free Hour

US History was just a throw in because I missed it sophomore year when I took AP Euro 🙁

Period 1: Econ Honors/ Ap Govt (2nd semester)
Period 2:Weightlifting
Period 3:Ap Calc
Period 4:Ap Psych
Period 5:Ap Lit
Period 6:French 3
Period 7😛hoto 3
Period 8:Journalism 3.

I dont have a science class because, I completed all 4 years of required science before senior year. Integ Science freshman year, Bio Sophomore year, Physics Junior year, Chemistry Junior year (online). Taking a full year of chemistry online was pretty brutal. My AP classes are pretty rigorous mostly reading on average of 5-8 hours a week. It gets rough, but with the parties this year so far... Good god its been amazing.

@Fabricated: There are guitar courses available at your highschool? That's so sick dude I wish we had a guitar course at my school.

0. AP Chem (I hate zero period with a vengeance, especially on lab days which forces me to get up at 4:30 so I can get to school at 6:00.)
1. AP Stats
2. World Religions
3. AP Econ (1st Sem.)/AP U.S. Gov. (2nd Sem.)
4. Beg. Guitar
5. LUNCH!
6. AP World Lit.
7. Honors Eng.
8. AP Bio

Then I have jazz band, yearbook, mountain biking, and golf.

Here is my reasoning: colleges will see I have a difficult course load, and after first semester I can slack a bit and pull B's.

What keeps the stress down: Borrowing my dads 1995 BMW 325i Sedan and going crazy with friends on weekends. It's fun to rev the engine at stop lights next to fast cars. The expression on people's faces is priceless when they realize this car is souped up: an M3 engine with many other upgrades; dyno says 326hp.

I Am personally taking 1.AP Bio 2.AP English 3. Rhetoric/sports med 4. Calculus 5. AP Gov 6. World religions

^About 4 months late! Haha. I'm trying to focus on math and science seeing as I like to think more "logically" than "creatively" if that makes sense.

AP Calculus AB
AP Statistics
AP Biology
AP Physics C
AP Environmental Science
AP U.S. Government
Dual Enrollment English 12 (op-ing out of AP Lit)

Hm...only 2 "creative" classes - english and government. Yes!

AP Bio
AP Chem
AP English
AP Calculus AB
AP Psychology
Civics (1/2 semester)
Intro to Statistics (1/2 semester)

:scared:

IB English HL II
IB History HL II
IB Math Studies
IB Environmental Science
IB Physics SL
Human Anatomy and Physiology
Sports Medicine

I was going to take IB philosphy as well, but I decided against it. The free period I have now is going to be used to finish tests that I don't finish on time or any other work that needs to be completed, or to go home early. I'm actually pretty happy about it, and I don't think adcoms for BS/MD programs would mind that I'm only taking 7 classes (excluding regular Gym) for my senior year anyway. I'm pretty psyched for Sports Med and Anatomy and Physiology.
