I spoke to a CVS pharmacist and she said that as part-time I will work the weekends and one evening during the weekday. I noticed that they open mon-fri from 8am until 10pm. So do you think id start at 4pm? I will be working as a pharmacy technician. Thanks

Depends. Where I work, some shifts start at 2, but most start at 3 or 4 (the 2-10 are usually for full timers who need to make a certain number of hours a week). If you are clear about your availability, I've never known a pharmacist who couldn't accommodate within reason.

The hours may vary by each individual store. My store, the pharmacy was open from 8 to 10. I ended up working a lot of evening shifts (1PM-9PM, since I was full time.) We did have an intern for a little while, who worked 6-10 on the nights I didn't work. Every pharmacy manager schedules a little differently, due to the fact that not all stores are staffed the same and they all have different workloads day-to-day.

it all depends on how busy your store is; how many tech's are scheduled for overlap. Closing for my store is 1:30 to 10 and weekends, we're usually by ourselves with a pharmacist.
