The MD website said June 2nd and I for some dumb reason assumed DO was the same date. But I see no date after scanning the apps faq sections. Can it just be turned in any date? Or is there one?

You can submit your DO app tonight if you wish. It has been open since early May I believe.

May and June submissions are considered very early. Nothing to worry about! Just make sure you proofread your application to make sure there are no mistakes because you can't edit it after you submit

December is late. If you have low stats/underdawg, then you should submit by July.

cryhavoc, don't rush. You are still very early. DO schools will not even start downloading applications until June 15. You can submit now and start ordering transcripts. If your internet is slow, you might want to go somewhere with good wifi to save your sanity since all of these things take time.
I have a "bad" sGPA and I heard people like me need to "apply early". I'm not trolling, I don't know if early is day 1 or not.
And second on the sanity thing, I always have to do stuff at an internet cafe. Only one provider where I live and it is slow.

You've posted over 300 posts and have been lurking around this forum for over a year. There is no reason for you to ask if you are late applying in MAY. Your apps won't even be sent to schools for another few weeks. Do you see why you seem to be trolling?

If I submit soon (within a week or so), but MCAT isn't until August 5th, am I considered late?
I thought the DO school app changed this year or something. Plus I can't even remember last year, my biochem class gave me temporary dementia with things not related to biochem. I've been out of class a month and can still recite everything but can't remember what I ate the previous day.

Hey guys, stupid question. If I have everything filled out, can I submit now? Or do I have to wait until all my transcripts are verified first? I'm waiting on my community college verification that will take about 1 more week.
I think they need your transcript first then you can get verified then you can submit to schools. Can anyone confirm?

It only takes a week so far to verify from the verification thread. Assuming you already have everything in, it should only take a week. Since AACOMAS does not transmit to medical schools until June 15th, it is not necessary to submit in May (since your app will not be transmitted to schools anyways.) If you want to be verified before June 15th, it is best to submit the first week of June.
Those who submitted in May probably did not have to, and could've used the extra time to spruce it up. Schools do not see your app until mid-June.
