I thought maybe some people have some information about that....

What dental instruments are OK to keep in the carry on case when planning to take the plane?

handpiece?
burs?
mirror?
explorer and chisels?
Small screwdriver?
Matrix band?
Typodont?
loops?

Please add to the list any additional item with the comment (ok or not ok)

I don't think they will let you 'carry on' items like Explorer, chisel and burs in the plane. It is saver for you to check it as 'baggage in' your bag or luggage than carry it on. Wish it help!

Nice post samyred

I also want to know about this.can we carry typodont and handpiece with us onboard?

people who have appeared for bench exam before plz comment.I am flying to LA and doesn't want to put it in 'check in' baggage.

thanks

Hi!
When I was flying, I have my loops and handpiece in carry-on, everything else - in checked baggage. As for the typodont, too many questions asked by security, so better put it in the checked baggage too.
