Hello everyone,

This is a little early but I have always had an interest in neurology and want to start to see early on what I can do to be competitive.

Can anyone share a couple things you had on your app that made you competitive? Is research a must? I´m not super set on trying to get into a top program or anything, I just want to match somewhere.

Any input is welcome. Thanks so much in advance for everyone´s time!

Get good grades.
Don't suck at your boards.
Be professional.
Do things that interest you.
Research isn't a must but helps a lot for top programs.
Basically the same as every medium-competitiveness specialty.
