Sorry folks, I know I posted something similar under a different topic name, but I wanted to make it more general.

What did you do for PDF supplemental applications, which didn't allow you to fill it out in Acrobat?

Are there any ways to cheat it? I'd rather avoid a typewriter if I can, so any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks.

I wrote very neatly using a black pen. Nothing was said by the school and I recieved an interview. I would say just write as neatlyt as possible, but make a copy of all new papers just in case you make a mistake you can have a fresh copy.

Thanks Amy Beth, I think I'd have to use a typewriter before I printed anything, my handwriting is one indication that I'm meant to be a doctor.

Congrats on your interview.

Beg, borrow or steal a typewriter! Some folks went on eBay and got self correcting typewriters VERY cheaply. 🙂

I would suggest a typewriter. But practice first, because it took me awhile to get it. I fele much more comfortable with an app that I could continually print out than if I just got a single copy.
But also I found a computer at my school that had acrobat reader the full edition and it was fairly simple to add in text. So snoop around or ask and you probably could find a computer with acrobat.
But i dont understand why they don't format the apps so we can just type them in like a form. I guess just to make the process more annoying for us!
But good luck whatever you decide to do!

I had a lot of these types of applications. I simply made a bunch of spare copies of the application. In MSWord, I typed the info for the application and tried to space it correctly on the page. Then, I ran some spare copies of the application through the printer and realligned where needed. When I was ABSOLUTELY sure that everything was in it's "place", I sent the original through the printer (will copies still available if I still messed up). I know this seems like a lot of work, but it really worked like a charm =)
