Well I'm finishing all the pre-pharm prereqs and pcat by Fall 2011 (this year)...and will also apply for the entering class of Fall 2012...so pretty much I've got nothing to do during spring break but to wait for the interview... what should I do during spring? I was thinkign two things...get both a part time pharmacy tech job/ part time job @ a local gym or my second option was to begin working on my bachelors degree in chemistry just incase at a local university. I'm unsure what to do... suggestions?

Really just depends. What are your stats so far? If it gets close to time to register for the spring term and you feel pretty confident in your grades/PCAT, I don't see much reason to keep working/paying towards a degree you're not actually interested in getting. If anything, take one or two more classes just to stay half-time and keep your loans (if any) in deferrment. And definitely consider fitting at least the tech job - valuable experience and looks good on your app.

Second that.

I would add that if you're on scholarship and your school is paid for regardless, you might as well keep working towards your degree. Even if your grades are stellar, things happen and you'd hate to have a wasted semester if for some reason you don't get in or can't attend.

Those are some good advices you got up there cuz once you put your brain to rest, hard to wake them up. I'm taking the whole year off from school and only working, and I already feel tired about starting pharm school in the fall. 😱

Yeah I just wanted to do something easy cause to be honest this past semester was intense! I've always wanted to go traveling, I might just do that to before the four years begin.
