I recently passed step 1 but barely after failing twice. I really need to know what are my chances at a residency and whether it is even worth continuing with my dream?

Nail Step 2, start studying like NOW, get Uworld for Step 2 and start it; make connections along the way and you'll be in better shape

If you're an IMG/FMG, I would suggest to think a little more before continuing. I am not saying the chances of you not matching are impossible but after failing the test 2x and then just passing it, puts a big red mark on your record and your chances to match will be very limited to none.
