The name of the class was called allied health chemistry - I took it at a cc and it did not transfer to cover my general chemistry requirement or anything - I put it under "other non-science" I am really hoping that is the case because I got a c+ in it and it would bring down my sgpa

Depends on the department it falls under as well as who is verifying your app that day. Was it a chemistry course or what?

yeah it was chemistry i switched it to other science

If it was from the chemistry department, it must be listed as chemistry. Transfer of credits is the business of institutions and should not dictate what you list and don't list.
