I work at a hospital as an EKG Technician, and I am also a pharmacy Technician. But I need guidance on how to build my resume and application. Thank you!
Smart. What has your prehealth advising office given you?

I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone. I am at a community college right now; I am transferring to a university with medical school. But I cant find anyone to get in touch with.

Have you discussed your courses and transfers to a four year college.

We have more... let us know what specific questions you have.

Your user name suggests possibly you're URM? You might want to look into LMSA.

If your user name is your real name, then you should probably change it if/when you start to post identifiable information.

There are tons of resources including those mentioned above. You may also be interested in Premed Prep: Advice from a Medical School Admissions Dean by Dr. Sunny Nakae.

In a nutshell, you will need not necessarily in order of importance:

A competitive MCAT score
A competitive GPA, especially in the science requirements for med school
Clinical exposure.
Community service preferably to the underserved
Evidence of compassion and communications skill as well as cross-cultural fluency.

Nice to -haves:
Research experience.
Evidence of leadership ability
Teamwork experience.

Please focus on getting 4.0s every semester and then worry about everything else.
