What DO schools have early interview & acceptance turn arounds

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Check out the acceptance thread.

Acceptance turn around: OU-HCOM takes the cake. Interviews are on Fridays. If you are in you will have an email by 8am Monday. People have been known to get calls Friday night sometimes even.

Yes, quick turn around but then you're in Ohio for 5 years since you have to sign a contract. Probably nicer weather than where I'm from though (Alaska).

If you complete residency in a primary care field within the CORE you do not have to practice there for 5 years afterward.

They also have an OOS Scholars program where selects OOS students are not required to sign that contract.

Seems like nova & lecom have pretty early interviews and acceptance dates. What other osteo schools are like this?

OSUCOM. I interviewed in October and was accepted 2 weeks later.

The cake will be shared with ACOM. Accepted students have reported receiving acceptance phone calls within hours of the interview.

:wow: I know that people get acceptances much later in the same day but still that is pretty shocking :wow:

Oh and AZCOM was my first II. I think it was in mid July. Not sure how fast they are with decisions though as I didn't attend.

NO WAY. I'm from Fairbanks and I tell you spending 5 years on Lake Erie was the MOST misterable, COLDEST weather I have ever endured. Cold to the bones. Rains, sleet, hail, blizzard, ice storms everyday year round. I got my degree and ran away as fast as I could.

Actually, I'm starting to like Nova in Florida a lot right now. Especially liked the picture in the prettiest campus thread of Gov Cristi caught looking at the "beach," i.e. the bikini clad women.

any idea what schools have the earliest interviews? I know Lake Erie had some in august, are there others in the august/september range?

This year NSU started the last week of August but AZCOM started in mid-September. LECOM starts in July and I'm not sure about WVSOM. That's all I can comment on personally.
