If I know all the HY images in the back of FA is that good enough? I'll also be reading these from Atlas of pathology Robbins and Clinical radiology made simple.

definitely take a look at some neuro images - CTs, MRIs. HY Neuro has some good ones.

I heard this when I was studying, but I did not find it to be true. there are some image questions on which the image isn't necessary but I can remember a handful on which the question required a diagnosis based on a picture. not a whole lot but it caught me off guard.

They will through some weird images at you, but be familiar with the images in HY neuroanatomy and try going over the images at WebPath (the University of Utah path site).
