What do we do until the loan check comes?

Just wondering what anyones has in plan to pay for an apartment/books/scrubs/supplies and other misc. things that we need before the big loan checks come in August. I had to sign a lease for june i didn't have a choice so now i have to find a way to pay for it before the check comes.

Schools always recommend that you to have enough money to cover the costs for the first two months of rent/utilities/food in case there are any delays in the processing of your loans. However you obtain this money is up to you whether it be personal loans, parents, or getting a job.

someone has failed to mention credit cards! Thats what I did for one month and it worked fine because i was able to pay it off before the interest hit.

I also worked long days to lower the use of the card...

I agree with the others.
From my d-1 and d-2 friends have told me, use the plastic. It is not a big deal because it will all be paid back as soon as your loan comes in.
