First of all, I love this freakin website! and all those who put their input! this is my first time postin here but i've been lurking around this place for the longest time lol. so here they are:
PAT - 23
QR - 16
Reading - 19
Bio - 18
G chem - 21
O chem -19
TS - 19
AA 19
it seems like everyone in here gives a break down so heres mine
BIO - used kaplan (not enough) and cliffs (great book!). i dont know what happened here. the questions were really random, like everyone says. i was scoring 21s in top score so i felt a little confident going in but when i came across the questions i was like uhhh... wtf. oh, and i also used the destroyer minimally for bio.
G chem - used kaplan (sufficient, i think), a little bit of destroyer, and chads video (only a few). I found out about chads videos a few days before my test and was kicking myself when i saw them. THEY ARE GREAT!!! i love this guy! chads videos are a must (if your weak in this area). i just wished i had known earlier so i couldve watched all of them..
honestly, i thought i was going to do horrible on this section like 17 so im happy!
O chem - used kaplan (sufficient, again my opinion) destroyer road map, and chads video (again, only a few). the questions were pretty straight forward, i just didnt learn all of the reactions, hence my 19. i think if u read and understand kaplan and watch all of chads videos u should be more than good!!
reading - ok reading sucked... i got the nerve/neurons, floating boat, and i cant remember the last one as i ran out of time and started punching in answers for most of the last passage. i didnt really practice for this.. i didnt know how. i usually read alot of cnn. sorry, im not much help here.
qr - again im not much help here. im weak on math which means im supposed to study for it a lot more but i studied for this at most 2 days. i used destroyer to do some problems. there were alot of word problems that i was like wtf? and some straight forward calculations.
pat - i studied for about 3 days? at most for this. i used cdp only. thought it was pretty accurate of the real test. the angles were kinda hard as was the top front end. i was running out of time with about 3 min for 10 questions. the angles were dragging me down.. after a while they all look the same.....
ok so i have a 3.4/3.1 gpa/sci. i know its pretty low so im worried about my dat scores not being able to 'balance out' the gpa. i have alot of extracurriculars and shadowing and experience working for a dentist.
so what do yall think? im a texas resident and thinking about some out of states and of course all the ones in texas. any suggestions on out of state? i havent submitted my aadsas yet either. probably be doin that tomorrow.
thanks again to all snders and thanks in advance for ur comments!!
