Hey,

So this is a dumb question, but surprisingly I haven't been able to get clear responses from the universities. Do you do a clinical residency then a fellowship, or a postdoc, or what?

The answer is it depends somewhat on your career trajectory. The typical pathway is clinical residency, fellowship, assistant faculty. The fellowship typically has research time built into it that pretty much counts like a post-doc.
