What do you do during the 30 minute break?

I tried to give myself a 15 minute break during a full-length bootcamp DAT and was so anxious to continue I restarted after 5 minutes. What are we supposed to do for 30 whole minutes? My testing center said we're not allowed to leave the floor of the building.

You do get 30 minutes now! Mine was 30 minutes today. I used the restroom, drank some water, ate half my sandwich and went back to my desk with an extra 15 minutes, sat for another 5 and just started RC early. I didn't risk checking my phone or anything even though some people looked like they were and nobody was really monitoring.

I still started after 15 minutes because I was so paranoid it was a glitch, lol. This was also like two weeks ago when no one mentioned in on SDN yet.

Just took my DAT and it was 30 minutes as well. I sat there for a good 3 minutes just puzzled at the fact and to make sure I wasn't seeing things. When I signed out I asked the testing administrator for the break time for DAT and she basically said whatever is on the screen is what it is.

i actually did the prometric test drive yesterday and my center told me we're allowed to look at notes/papers during the 30 minute break..but i would call your own center to confirm.

My testing center told me I wasn't allowed to go through my phone or any of my notes. The 30 minutes is basically just to eat, use the restroom, and re-gather your focus for the second half of the test

I got to go through my phone and everything! My lady was just like "just do whatever you want." I think it depends on your center/procter. I just took the opportunity to call my mom and browse SDN lol

I went outside and took a walk. I thought it was pretty relaxing and rejuvenating.

I used the restroom, got a drink, and ate a snack. I then chatted with the other person who was also taking the DAT for about 5 minutes. I then went in and took a few minutes to get refocused. I ended up starting about 5 minutes early.

Don't forget that it'll take a couple of minutes to get back into the testing room, especially if their are people ahead of you. They have to check your pockets, wand you, and confirm your fingerprints before you can sign back into the testing center.

I went to the restroom. Ate a little bit and went in again. I have 15 mins left but I don't want to wait until the end of the break. So I just started with ~14mins left.

Maybe the policy has changed? When I took my test, the proctor said only restroom and snacks are allowed.
