One thing I am really interested that my college offers are the various seminars that occur during the holiday breaks, yet I am hoping that I may have the time to pursue them. For example, here are a few links:
http://socialconcerns.nd.edu/academic/fall/fall.shtml
http://socialconcerns.nd.edu/academic/spring/spring.shtml
They are throughout the year which is what really impresses me in terms of truly getting the opportunity.
I guess, my question is, how do medical schools tend to view "seminars" in general such as a week-long Global Health Initiative seminar or a "Children in Poverty" seminar...although only a week course, does it "stand out" is basically the question I am trying to ask..
Thanks. 😴
