I began to worry a little about my application... It was sent over a month ago and only UCSF has sent me their secondary app. No word from anyone else... I have 23AA 26TS 20PAT, 3.7 sGPA and 3.4 GPA. Aplied to OU, Baylor, Uop, Marquette, NYU, Temple ! BTW, How many 2ndary applications actually get an interview at UCSF, I appreciate any solid info or opinion...What are my chances to get in at UCSF without any research experiance?

UCSF is pretty selective I believe. If you got a secondary, finish it right away! As for research experience, I don't think they require it, but they do recommend it.

lots of extracurricular activities? volunteering, shadowing, dental office, dental assisting?? any??

Yes, i have few thing...here we go:
shadowing/observing/assisting 190hrs
volunteered at free dental clinic 45 hrs
pre-dental course at OU
lots of club memberships + positions
habitat for humanity
suplemental student instructor (chemistry tutor)
worked full time while at school (waiter)
I think thats about it... NO research at all...you thing UCSF and UoP might like me?

u have a crazy high DAT, solid GPA, great ECs...why wouldnt they like you is the question? haha you should be good to go as long as you are not an anus during the interviews.

from what i know about UoP, i know they like high DAT scores. so i think you have a good chance. I'm not an admissions director so i cannot say with guarantee but i can only speculate like everyone else on this board. Apply and give it a shot u have nice #s.

Well, im taking my DAT tomorrow so we'll see how everything ends up from there. My GPA sucks ~3.0 but im in a postbac trying to get it up a 3.2. If i have awesome DAT scores like u, then my eyes will be on San Fran lol. But really I'd be happy with getting into my state school, UMDNJ. gl socket with ur apps!
