Hello,
I have started to prepare for some interview questions and don't even know where to begin for the following two. Pharmacy economics at the global level?? I don't think I know anything about this! The second is an essay topic.

1. What do you think about pharmacy economics at the global level?

2. Topic: natural disasters and pharmacy preparation for patients

Any input(tips, ideas...) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Ok.....I know you want a specific answer or direction or something to read. But...many of us have already become pharmacists & many of the rest of us have already applied & are thinking about this as well.

This is going to be YOUR interview - not ours. So....lets help you think about it so you can formulate your own ideas. No adcom wants to hear what sdn1977 thinks, I can assure you!

The second one is the easiest, IMO. You tell me what comes to mind when you think back to Hurricaine Katrina. What issues did those individuals encounter with regard to their healthcare &/or medications specifically.

Are you old enough to remember Y2K? What preparations did folks recommend medication-wise then?

Lets have a discussion....you give me your ideas...then I'll give you what mine were in real life - I experienced both (altho Katrina in only a peripheral fashion). If you need help....you can use the search function...I know some of us posted after that happened. But...you can also use google to see what actually happened.

I'm willing to help you "discover" what you might think...but, I don't want to tell you what to think. Otherwise...you won't sound sincere & believable in an interview.
