Hey,
I was just curious if anyone has ever set up a phony LOR name on VMCAS or knows what exactly is required for them. Do they just enter test in the form of a letter or are there questions? are they limited to a certain number of characters?

Just curious...

yes, there's a character limit. but no need to set up a phony LOR name though, you can see exactly what's required of them if you just access the paper forms.

I've done it. Edited two of my LORs so it was helpful to know what they were being asked. 3,000 character limit for the letter, and a set of questions with check boxes... looks like this:

I have a sample one too - PM me your email and I can dig it up and send it to you (or you can do what minnerbelle said 🙂)

ETA: Well there you go! No more mystery.

I accidently sent one to myself instead of the evaluator, entered in the wrong email address. The evaluator receives an email with a link to a form that looks like that. They can them submit it online. But it looks exactly like the printable form, and what's said above.
