Is it just the pre-reqs? All bio/ chem classes you've taken? Just curious

I believe that any class you designate as chem/bio/or other science when inputting your grades will be used to calculate your science GPA. It’s in the help section online somewhere.

Any bio, chem, physics.
Math doesn't count for the Aacomas GPA

When I filled out my app, I called because one of the classes that I took was pathophysiology, which is all biology including some chemistry when dealing with the kidneys and the lungs but it was designated as a nursing course and they told me to count it non-science. I was like "What in the h@ll?" They said they do it as it is listed on the web site so they can compare applicants better.

What about biostatistics...does that count as Science or Math? I think it said math but now I'm not sure...

Regardless of what you fill it out as on your application, AACOM will put it into whatever category they think is correct. Put it in what you think is the most accurate, and they will check it for you.

Look in the frequently asked questions, last year they had a whole section that listed specific courses and where they would be classified. I went by that list to the best of my ability in filling out my application. If you are really worried about it, you could call AACOM.
