I am convinced that an comprehensive review of VA ophthalmology glaucoma records would be very similar. The glaring misnomer here is that because ophthalmology can attempt to control glaucoma through surgical procedures, that equals better care. Hmmm. . .

This article was poorly written with little background data. After reading the article, I still do not really know the situation. I doubt there was any gross negligence on the part of optometry, maybe some missed cases of glc, but I doubt there was more than that. If ophthalmology really thinks they don't miss any glaucoma, they really are delusional.
