There is a question on the MCAT app that reads:

28 - Release to Undergraduate Health Professions Advisor
I hereby authorize the AAMC to release a record of my test scores, as derived from the administration of this edition of the MCAT, to the health professions advisor and the health professions advisory committee of the undergraduate institution (as selected below) that will provide my letters of evaluation to schools of medicine and/or where I will complete the courses required for application to medical school.

I have to pick between YES and NO.. I am not exactly sure i understand it. Can someone please explain it to me. Do i go with a yes or no?

Thx fellas!

What did you guys go with? Is it bad if i select NO? Pros and Cons.....thx

I put "Yes" because I did not care if my advisor wanted to see my scores. I told her my scores anyway. If she did not believe me so she could've checked them online. Pre-med comittees are much stricter, those guys will diffinetely check ours scores before writing the recommendation letter.

Femto,
Do you have a pre-med committee at your school that is doing a composite letter for your med school app.? If so, I would suggest checking on "yes" for that question. If not, it raises several questions about why you are trying to hide your scores and they may become skeptical of your candidacy.

Thx all... Ok, i am going with "YES" since i got nothin' to hide <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" />
