on my aadsas 'Designated schools' page, Below "printout not mailed", it says "New Revisions Mailed on Nov 10, 2005"???? I'm terrified.

you would think AADSAS would have their act together by now...they had all this time to produce a non-buggy system...and YET, all the applicants have had such an issue with their service. i wish another organisation would just come up with a better system so the dental schools can overthrow AADSAS...they are so unprofessional...

I got that "new revision mailed on..." mark on my designation page too. Someone told me there was a computer glitch at AADSAS and they had to resend all the applications for people who applied early. Correct me if I'm wrong. "Computer glitch" is AADSAS excuse for everything.

Don't be too worried- only the revisions will be mailed on Nov. 10; the application itself will still be mailed 6-8 weeks after it was submitted. I had the same thing show up on my application. Since the first week of August, it said revisions would be mailed September 1st, but my application itself was still mailed August 18. However, come September 1st, the revisions that were supposed to be mailed on the 1st were pushed back to Septemeber 15th. When I called AADSAS for an explanation, I was also told that it was a "computer glitch" and the revisions were indeed mailed on the 1st. Anyway, today is September 15th, and when I checked my application today it said "Revisions mailed on Sept. 15." Moral of the story: Don't beleive a word that comes out of the mouth of any AADSAS representative. They are trained to lie. Anytime a "glitch" occurs, be highly suspicious.

I had the same thing! I opened my AADSAS account today and it said that my revisions will be sent in November. Does that mean that my original application will be sent on time? (I e-submitted my application on August 12th.) 😕 I called two different representatives and they both told me to not worry. They said that it will take 4-6 weeks from the time they calculate your GPA. whatever... I don't even know if I should believe them.

Mine says revisions will be mailed out on October 27th but I have absolutely no idea what they are revising. All the schools I applied have said they received the AADSAS application and had no problems with it...just something minor they are mailing out I'm guessing but it could just be a bug, who knows.

yes I have Nov. 5th revisions too.. what's going on.. how many revisions do they need to make.. I had one for aug. 12th... it's annoying

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHy is my future controlled by a computer????????????
There can't be more than 400 applicants to the schools I want. I'll sort through them for free. Computers are unreliable and scary. What happened to people?

I wish we could apply directly to the schools we want to go to. It would be a lot cheaper, and only a little more work, and much more reliable.

Yes, your original application will still be processed on time. By the way, AADSAS claims it will take 4-6 weeks to process your application. However, once it is processed, it will approximately take 2 more weeks to be sent. For me specifically, it took just over 6 weeks for them to process it, and then another 2 weeks for them to send it.

Basically they'll be sending out whatever changes you made to your application after you submitted it. For instance, I took my DAT in August and updated my application after it had already been submitted. So my "revisions" are just my DAT score.
